Why Work With Us

Illustration
  • All children have unique individualized developmental needs, and a specialized therapeutic company like ours focused on pediatric care, has experienced therapists who understand these needs. This expertise ensures that the therapy provided is tailored to address the specific challenges and developmental milestones of children by creating programs based on your specific child.

Illustration
  • Stand Out Care therapists are trained to take a holistic approach to child development, focusing not only on therapy but also on overall well-being. They may incorporate play-based and creative therapies, nutrition guidance, and parental education to support a child's physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. NET or Natural Environment Teaching allows the child to learn while the instructor mimics play. All of our therapists and clinicians are trained in both NET and DTT (Discrete Trial Training)

Illustration
  • Stand Out Care prioritizes family involvement in therapy. We recognize the importance of including parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, offering training, counseling, and support to help families better understand and support their child's needs. This family-centered approach can lead to more effective and sustainable progress for the child as the parent and caregivers are best to carry over the techniques that foster learning when the therapist is not in the home.

What Is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children with autism and developmental differences develop meaningful skills for daily life. By understanding how behavior works and how it’s influenced by the environment, ABA supports growth in communication, social interaction, independence, and emotional regulation while reducing challenging behaviors. Using proven methods like Natural Environment Teaching (NET) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT), ABA breaks skills into manageable steps, reinforces positive behaviors, and celebrates progress—always tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs.

Stand Out Care Testimonials
Testimonials

“Before starting ABA, our daughter hardly spoke and struggled to connect with others. Within months at Stand Out Care, she began using words to ask for what she wanted and even started playing alongside her cousins. The therapists not only helped her but also taught us strategies to use at home. It has truly changed our lives.”

— Sarah L. Mother of a 7-year-old

“When we first walked through the doors, we were overwhelmed and unsure of what to expect. The Stand Out Care team immediately made us feel like family. Our son now makes eye contact, says ‘I love you,’ and is more confident at school. Those small moments are everything to us.”

— James & Anna P. Parents of a 5-year-old

“Finding Stand Out Care has been the best decision we’ve made for our child. The therapists are patient, compassionate, and celebrate every little victory with us. Watching our daughter learn to communicate her needs and share smiles with her siblings has been the greatest gift.”

— Maria G. Mother of a 6-year-old

“We can’t thank the team enough. Our son used to struggle with meltdowns every day, but now he can express his feelings with words and even enjoys group activities. The progress he’s made has brought so much joy and hope to our family.”

FAQ'S

What should I do if my child has or I am concerned about a developmental delay?

If you have concerns about your child's development, please reach out to the New York City Early Intervention Program at 311. (For children age ages 0-3) You can then request our agency for services if needed.

Why should I get services for my child? Will it actually help?

The earlier a child gets support, the better the outcomes. Early intervention aims to help children reach their full potential by supporting learning and development right from the start.

In what settings does Stand Out Care offer Early Intervention Program services?

Services are provided in the child's natural environment, typically their home. However, we can also offer services in a daycare or another setting familiar and comfortable for the child.
